Master Power Coaches

Paulo Saldanha
As president and founder of PowerWatts™, Paulo is the mastermind behind the training prescription and development of the system. Paulo holds a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from McGill University and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the NSCA. Paulo is a former professional Ironman triathlete, Canadian national master’s road champion and finisher of the grueling Race across America (RAAM). His motivation in creating the PowerWatts™ system was to meet the needs of both elite and recreational cyclists in their quest for ultimate performance.
Chris Rozdilsky
Chris holds a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology and has an extensive background in sports medicine and strength and conditioning. Chris has been working in the Sport Science field for over 15 years and has worked with some of the top minds in the industry as well as coached many Elite level athletes in a multitude of sport disciplines. He has been an athlete his entire life and has reached a high level in a variety of sports. Chris is a former UCI Elite road cyclist who competed on the US NRC circuit for 10 years.
Dave Albert
Dave is a master’s road racer, former triathlete and a PowerCoach at Premier Studio in Montreal. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise science from Condordia University and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist with the NSCA. Dave has been in the exercise field for many years and has worked with a large variety of clientele. Dave is a time trial specialist and enjoys teaching clients some of the tools of his trade.
Manon Jutras
Manon has a background in microbiology and marketing, and has worked as a PowerCoach at Premier studio since completing her career as a professional road cyclist. The highlight of her career was the opportunity to compete for Canada at the Olympic games in Athens, 2004. Manon splits her time between coaching, personal training, motivational speaking and her family.
Rob Coté
Rob obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Physical education from McGill University. He is a naturally gifted runner and long distance triathlete. Rob has helped pioneer the PowerWatts training system that has been crucial in the training and development of several elite cyclists and triathletes. Rob’s athletic career spans over decades including five Hawaii ironman triathlon world championships and four Boston marathons. His passion for the wilderness has brought many groups on backcountry excurcions and extended trips.
Mark Tosques
While Mark has degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics and Probability & Statistics, his passions lie in the fields of fitness and coaching. He entered into the fitness industry as a personal trainer at the young age of sixteen and over the last 10 years has gained a lifetime of experience working with experts in resistance training. Mark is a gifted all-around athlete who excels in cycling and distance running. He is a former Quebec provincial cycling champion and has won age-group running road races from 2km to half-marathon distances. Presently Mark is combining his prowess in cycling and running in an attempt to compete in duathalons at an elite-level.
Power Coaches

Michel Courval
Michel has a background in Kinesiology and has been in the fitness industry for many years. Michel has a black belt in Karate and currently races on the Masters cycling scene in Quebec for team Opus/PowerWatts.
Augy Marmelo
Augy is a graduate of the University of Toronto Phys Ed Program.
He is a former professional triathlete and a pioneer in the sport of triathlon back in the 1980′s.
Augy now dedicates his time to coaching in the Toronto Spidertech/Powerwatts center and providing unique bike trip experiences.
David Gagnon
David has a background in physical education. After 15 years competing in triathlon around the world, David moved his focus to coaching. He is a Powercoach since april 2011. He splits his time between coaching (Powerwatts and 2 triathlon teams), school (degree in commerce) and travelling new places. He’s always looking for new challenges.
Denys Mantha
Denys holds a degree in engineering from Polytechnique and joined Premier Studio as a Power Coach following a satisfying career as a mechanical engineer specialised in HVAC. He has been racing his bike for close to 20 years and is Time Trial specialist taking top honours at the Provincial TT Championship in 1997 and again in 2006 amongst his many podium results. His passion for cycling and the satisfaction of sharing his knowledge with those he coaches is what drives him.
Vincent Jourdain
Vincent holds a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Sherbrooke.
He also holds a level 4 from the National Coaching Institute in Montreal.
Vincent owns over 25 years of experienced in road racing and coaching with club, team, Quebec provincial team and Canadian National team.
He has been the Head coach for the Para cycling program with the Canadian national team from 1998 until 2002. And has been the Head coach for the road program with the Canadian national team from 2003 until 2011
Vincent coached athletes in many World Championships, major Games including 2008 Olympic Games and others international events.
